Spin, Solve and Win on Your Wii
Now you and your whole family can spin the iconic wheel as contestants on America's favorite game show from the comfort of your own home as Wheel of Fortune finally comes to Wii. In this amazing re-creation, players take on the role of contestants battling for prizes and cash as they uncover letters in the show's familiar turn based Hangman style phrase puzzle format. Mirroring the TV show, the game features 1-3 player support, allowing the whole family to play, or for two players or even a single player to face AI opponents as they solve over 8,000 puzzles built into the game. Along with the standard puzzle format, the game features "commercial break" mini-games and show related trivia that add to the fun and diversify the gameplay action. New and established fans of the show will also be delighted to see that the game contains Wii style representations of host Pat Sajak and the world's most famous letter turner, Vanna White, both in standard studio attire, as well as themed outfits available when the game moves to in-game alternative locations, such as Hawaii. Combine all this with Wii Remote motion control functionality that lets players spin the wheel with a flick of the wrist and Wii Speak microphone capabilities (sold separately) that allow you to call out letters and solve the puzzles verbally, and you have an addictive video game Wheel of Fortune experience that truly does justice to the original TV game show.

Also, for the first time ever, you can play along with host Pat Sajak. Never before has Pat Sajak been on a Wheel of Fortune video game. Also, his voice is there along with Vanna White and the announcer Charlie O'Donnell. Also, do not worry about getting confused. Charlie O'Donnell, Pat Sajak, and Vanna White all tell you step-by-step how to play the game, whether you are using Wii Speak or not. Please make note of that, you do NOT need Wii Speak to play this exicting game. All Wii Speak enables you to do is play the game by calling out the letters and solving the puzzles using your voice, just as if you were in Culver City, California in Sony Pictures Studios on the actual show. Now, I have been to a WheelMobile event. I have multiple Wheel of Fortune games. I have played the Wheel of Fortune games for the following systems: -Super Nintendo Entertainment System -Various CD-ROM games (there... I waited to read a few reviews before buying it and the reviews were all positive so I bought it and couldnt be happier! This game is exactly like the the game show. It's a lot of fun to play- even alone. I'd 100% reccommend this game. 42 of 49 people found the following review helpful = Fun: Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Wheel of Fortune (Video Game) I don't regret buying the game from Amazon for $27.99, but wouldn't have been happy to have paid fify as was the selling price at several online sites I checked out before here. The one good thing is that it is suppose to have over 8,000 puzzles and I imagine that it uses the memory on the Wii to keep track of what you've seen and not seen.It does give WAYYYY too much time to solve puzzles and any player can sit and wait forever while making up his mind whether to spin, solve or buy a vowel. It does need improvement, but it is worth thirty bucks and you will have some fun. Me and my family set a rule that you have to have integrity and honesty on the pop-up puzzles, because once you ring in that you know a toss up puzzle, you then have fifty seconds to solve it and if you have three people, that's a lot of waiting if someone doesn't know it and wants to cheat. We also set a time limit of like five seconds in between deciding whether to spin, solve or what have... Read more |
