There aren't too many cases to fit the larger DSi and so I was thrilled when I found this one. It has storage for 6 games, the DSi, the large pen and a place for a spare small pen. The only downside of this case is that my daughter (6 years old) has trouble working the latch as you have to push down on it pretty hard. The upside of this is that it helps us control how much she plays on it since she can't open it herself.Excellent protection for the DSi. It's been dropped several times and no worries to the electronics inside. It's really nice having the games storage right there as well since both kids use it to store their games. Very convenient. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a hard case type storage and can stand the bit of extra bulk that the case adds. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful  Great Case! I evaluated two products before picking this one. The other one was the official Nintendo travel case. Generally speaking, we love it. We got more than we expect for the price. I deducted one star for the lack of accessory space while traveling.Pros: 1. This is a Nintendo Certified product, which makes for professional quality and looks. 2. Sturdy - This is truly hard case. We've dropped the case, sat on it, and put it in a travel bag full of other stuff. You know nothing is going to be cracking this case easily. The DS is held very snugly inside and will not move at all or rattle around. 3. Cartridge slots - Holds up to 6 DS games. That is more than enough for us while we are traveling. It is a hard case, so it offers GREAT protection, but it has room for 6 games inside tho, which isn't that much space.... It also has 2 slots, one for the Big Blue stylus, and one for the stylus that is on the right side of the system. Overall, it is a great case that offers great protection, but doesn't have much space for games. I find this case to be a GREAT case, and I would recommend it to anybody.If you have a DS Lite AND a DSi XL, or a DSi XL and a 3DS, I would recommend you get this case for the DSi XL, and the Portfolio Pull and Go case because the Portfolio Pull and Go case has enough room for almost 30 games, but it only fits the 3DS, DS Lite, and DSi, not the XL, so you get a case for your systems and a lot of game space! |
